OPKIM

Last week I was attended the OPKIM (Khidmat Curahan Bakti) organized by Rakan Muda Club at Felda Sri Ledang. OPKIM is held to establishing ties between UiTM student and Felda Sri Ledang population and also to motivate the pupil in RKT Sri Ledang School. This program is held for 3 days and 2 night starting from 20th January until 22 January 2012. I will tell you my experience attended this program from the first day until the last day.

On 20th January, we arrived at the Felda Sri Ledang and we have been given to the adopt family. Everyone got their own adopt family including me. For one adopt family there are 2 to 4 student have been adopt. I'm with two others UiTM student that is Waie and Syafik have been adopt by Encik Usop's Family. Encik Usop is a nice guy, he live in a small house with his son, Saiful. Although we just an adopt child, they treat us like his own son.

On 21st of January, in the morning, I have been choose to become a facilitator for pupil in RKT Sri Ledang School and my task is to motivate them who are going to attend a UPSR exam this year. This is my first time to handle a pupil and it is very hard as they are so naughty and noisy. I wonder how teachers can handle them everyday without giving up. In the evening, we held a telematch for these pupil and I really have a good time with them. The telematch that I played is throwing a balloon, carrying a ping pong ball on a spoon and a the longest rope. Although my team had lost in the games my team had give a great team spirit and I enjoyed playing the games with them.

On 22nd of January or the last day, in the morning, we had a task to cleaning the village. My team and I had to clean the field together with the villagers. It is start from 8.00 am until 12.00 pm and it is very tired but we feel very satisfied because the field is very clean and beautiful. In the evening we have to pack our things to get back to UiTM and this is the hardest part because we have to leave our adopt family, we feel very sad even we just live with them only 3 days.

OPKIM program have give me a great experience that I can never forget. I hope that there are another program like this in the future and I will surely take part.

Sushi From Japan

I likes sushi very much even I dont know how it taste. I never had a chance to taste or see it in front of my eyes, I just saw sushi on television. I loves sushi because it looks so colourful and so unique. For my next post, I'm going to tell you about sushi. Sushi is the most famous Japanese dish outside of Japan, and one of the most popular dishes among the Japanese themselves. In Japan, sushi is usually enjoyed on special occasions, such as a celebration.

During the Edo period, "sushi" referred to pickled fish preserved in vinegar. Nowadays sushi can be defined as a dish containing rice which has been prepared with sushi vinegar. There are many different types of sushi. Some popular ones are:

Nigiri

Small rice balls with fish. There are countless varieties of nigirizushi, some of the most common ones being tuna, shrimp, eel, squif, octopus and fried egg.

Gunkan

Small cups made of sushi rice and dried seaweed filled with seafood.

Norimaki

Sushi rice and seafood (rolled in dried seaweed sheets).

Oshizushi

Pressed sushi, in which the fish is pressed onto the sushi rice in a wooden box.

Temaki

Made of nori seaweed and filled with sushi rice, seafood and vegetables.

Inari

Inarizushi is a simple inexpensive type of sushi, in which sushi rice is filled into aburaage (deep fried tofu) bags.

Chirashi

Chirashizushi is a dish in which seafood, mushroom and vegetables are spread over sushi rice. It can resemble domburi with the difference being that chirashizushi uses sushi rice while domburi uses regular, unseasoned rice.

Even there are many shop in Malaysia that sell sushi, it is not the same sushi as in Japan. I hope that one day I have a chance to taste sushi originally from Japan.

10 Things About Me That You Dont Know

1.I cannot eat more than one plate of rice and if I eat more than one plate of rice, I definitely will puke.

2.I used my roommate's wireless to online Facebook. When I'm surfing the internet, I will use my roommate's wireless, it is because his wireless is fast and there are no limited access to the internet. In addition, my roommate always influence me to use his wireless without any payment.

3.I likes sushi but I never had a chance to taste it. I love the unique looks of the sushi, it is so colourful and very tasty. I dont like sushi that is sell in our country because the taste is different. I hope someday I can travel to Japan and eat sushi as much as I like there.

4.I still dont have a car license. It is sound very weird and it is true. I still dont have my car license and I only have a motocycle license. Now I'm learning to drive a car and in progress to take a car license.

5.I love accounting. I loves accounting since I was secondary school and my niece is my influence because she is an accountant at Maybank. The way I see she works, accounting gives her a better life. However that is not the reason why I love accounting, I have my own reason to love accounting that is my accounting's teacher when I was in secondary school.

6.I can play guitar very well and I have my own guitar. I learn to play guitar at the age of 15 with my friends. At first I founded that it is very difficult to learn but now I can play well. I also have perform a group band with my friends and the band is called "Riuh".

7.My favourite song is Kurnia from Mizz Nina and Noh Hujan. I loves the songbecause in this song there are 2 combination of genre that is R & B and accoustic ballad and this combination makes this song good. Furthermore, the voice of this 2 singer makes this song more enjoys to listen.

8.My fourite movie is Saving Private Ryan. Many knowledge and lessons we can get from this movie. This movie shows the characteristic of the main actor that is Tom Hanks who never give up with his team to save one private that is private ryan. Many obstacle Tom Hanks have to pass such as his group member die, fight with russian soldier and fight russian tanks with only a few soldier. The very sad part is when Tom Hank had been shoot and die because of russian soldier but private Ryan remains life because of Tom Hanks.

9.When I go to sleep, I will turn on the lights. It is because I'm afraid of the dark. I cannot sleep in the dark place because it is so scary.

10.I dont like blogging. Idont like blogging because it is my first time I blogging and I am really stressed of blogging because there are so many button on the interace also I dont know what is the function of the button.
